Dejan Ljubicic will leave SK Rapid. Now the central midfielder confirms: A decision about his future has already been made.
It is no longer a secret that the 23-year-old will leave Hütteldorfer for free after the end of his contract in the summer. Not least because Ljubicic is associated with clubs from Germany and Italy.
During the week, the central midfielder and his agent traveled to Italy for negotiations – it is not known which club the key Rapid player spoke to. Where it will land in the summer should now be fixed – and it shouldn’t be Italy.
Again Kicker reported, Ljubicic is about to move to 1. FC Köln, where he will play sixth in the future. Ljubicic is said to have agreed on a three-year contract with Cologne, which also applies in the event of relegation to the second division.
“Those in charge at Rapid know that I was gone. I won’t say more,” said Ljubicic tellingly Sky. “I’ve already made a decision. Those responsible know.”
