Thursday day May 27, the new vaccination point is scheduled to open in the Berlin Room of the Camp Nou, stadium of FC Barcelona, in a space that could have 4 vaccination boxes and a rate of 2,500 weekly doses during the three weeks in which it will be open.

“The space, what it will work in the morning from Monday to Friday, will have a vaccination capacity of 2,500 weekly doses and will be open three weeks. It is expected that there may be 4 vaccination boxes, “the club said in a statement.

The care coordination of the vaccination point will be the Hospital Clinic, which will be provided by the nursing staff, and also from the primary care of the CAPSBE and from CAP Sarrià, which will be provided by administrative professionals for registration and citizen service.

On March 23, the Minister of Health, Alba Vergés, and the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, agreed to open the vaccination point and in recent weeks the technicians of the Health department and the club have coordinated the location of the same.

“From the first moment, the Department of Health worked with this possibility, not so much from a point of view of a massive space, but to have an emblematic point that serves to make citizens aware of the need to be vaccinated“, added the Barça.
