Manchester City finally gives up participating in the Super League.
The breath begins to fall dangerously for the Super League. While one of the twelve founding clubs of the new competition, Manchester City finally decided, this Tuesday, April 20, to withdraw from the project only two days after its launch.
These twelve prestigious European teams have been the subject of fierce disputes since Sunday, but also threats of sanctions from the biggest football authorities. UEFA had in particular raised fears that it could exclude separatist clubs from the Champions League, as of this season. This decision would have concerned Manchester City, semi-finalist of the C1.
