Juventus Turin sports director Fabio Paratici has denied rumors that the old lady could break up with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.
“I can only laugh about the criticism of him,” said the 48-year-old at Sky Sport Italia and made it clear: “It’s a privilege to have him on our team. He represents the future of Juventus.”
After the end of the Champions League round of 16 against FC Porto, criticism rained for Ronaldo. There was even speculation about a return to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo himself only broke his silence days after leaving and was combative. “More important than the number of falls in life is the question of how quickly and how strongly you can get back on your feet,” he wrote Instagram and added: “True champions never break!”
Since moving to Turin in summer 2018, the Portuguese missed the semi-finals with Juventus in every season. His current contract runs until 2022.
