SK Rapid and Adrian Hajdari agreed on a further collaboration until summer 2024. The Hütteldorfer announced on Thursday.
At the age of eleven, Adrian Hajdari switched from SV Donau to the green and white offspring. Since then, the native of North Macedonian, who now “only” has Austrian citizenship, has played in all of the SK Rapid’s junior teams.
In December 2019, Hajdari made his professional debut in a 2-2 draw in the 330th Vienna Derby. At that time, Hajdari, who came in for junior international game honors for both Austria and North Macedonia, came on as a substitute for Mario Sonnleitner in front of 26,000 fans at halftime.
The defensive all-rounder is currently playing for the first team in two competitive matches. In the current season, the 20-year-old made 22 appearances at Rapid II in the second-highest division and, despite his young age, is already one of the top performers and leading players in the team of coach Franz Maresch.
“I am very happy about my extension and thank everyone who has supported me so far. Rapid is my heart and soul, that my contract has now been extended, gives me additional motivation in my day-to-day work,” said Hajdari happily about the contract extension.
