In the current season, the points will only be divided. But SK Rapid’s squad planning for the coming season is already in full swing.
With Maco Grüll (SV Ried) and Robert Ljubicic (SKN St. Pölten), two promising newcomers have already been fixed for the coming season. “Two such good young Austrians, free of transfer, especially in this crisis – that is already very good for us and the future of Rapid,” said Rapid Sports Director Zoran Barisic.
Ercan Kara, who like Yusuf Demir attracted the interest of other clubs, was presented with a new contract. “We’ll see how the chances are,” says Barisic, who would also like to see Marcel Ritzmaier on loan in Hütteldorf. “There are talks. We want to keep it and will see if and how we can implement it,” reports Barisic.
Barisic is amazed at the financial demands of some consultants. So Barisic finds sharp words: “Maybe one or the other lives in a bubble and has forgotten that the pandemic is not over yet.” In any case, Barisic does not want to take any risks: “We have to be very careful in our actions.”
