Serie A: Juventus back in third place – AC Milan and Inter Milan are weak

After the chaotic days of the Super League, Juventus Turin presented itself unerringly, at least on the pitch. The Italian record champions, one of the main players in the recent dispute over a European elite league, won 3-1 (1-1) against Parma Calcio on matchday 33 of Serie A.

The old lady regained third place in the table, which she had lost in a direct duel at Atalanta Bergamo for German international Robin Gosens (0: 1) at the weekend. Bergamo are one point behind again, but can react in the game against AS Roma on Thursday.

At the top, the big Milan clubs made unusual slip-ups. Leader of the table Inter did not get beyond a 1: 1 (1: 1) at Spezia Calcio, but is well ahead of the competition with 76 points. AC Milan, however, lost to Sassuolo Calcio 1: 2 (1: 0) and with 66 points are only one point ahead of Juventus.

Turin fell behind due to Gaston Brugman (25th), but Alex Sandro turned the game around with two goals right before and after the break (43rd / 47th). Matthijs de Ligt (68th) scored the final score. Milan led against Sassuolo for a long time through a goal by former Bundesliga professional Hakan Calhanoglu (30th), Giacomo Raspadori (76th / 83rd) then managed a double for the guests in the closing stages. Another former Bundesliga star secured the point for Inter: Ivan Perisic (39th) equalized Spezia’s lead by Diego Farias (12th).
