Serie A: Inter Milan after victory in Crotone just before the title

Inter Milan are on the verge of winning their first Italian Serie A title since 2010. Coach Antonio Conte’s team extended their lead with a 2-0 (0-0) win at bottom FC Crotone.

If pursuers Atalanta Bergamo do not win in Sassuolo on Sunday (3 p.m.), Inter will no longer be able to take the 19th scudetto in the club’s history four game days before the end. Most recently, Juventus Turin won the title nine times in a row.

Christian Eriksen (69.) brought Inter four minutes after his substitution, the ex-Dortmund Achraf Hakimi (90. + 2) made everything clear. The Nerazzurri have now been unbeaten in 15 games.

On Saturday evening, AC Milan prevailed 2-0 (1-0) against Benevento Calcio. Hakan Calhanoglu (6th) and Theo Hernandez (60th) scored the goals.
