Former Manchester United footballer Ryan giggs has denied before the British courts having exercised a violent behavior with his girlfriend, including various charges for isolation, belittling, humiliation, harassment, degradation and abuse.
Giggs, 47, too Public relations executive Kate Greville pleaded not guilty to bodily harm, 36, at his home in Worsley on Nov. 1. He has also been charged with common assault on Emma Greville, Kate’s younger sister, during the same alleged incident.
The former player appeared this Wednesday in the dock of the accused in the Manchester Magistrates Court for his first appearance, in which the three charges against him and he pleaded not guilty.
Giggs, who spoke only to confirm his name, address and plead not guilty, was put released on bail and must appear again in court on May 26. His conditions of bail are that he must not contact the Greville sisters or go to any address where they are located.
