Robin Dutt takes over the coaching position at WAC

The coach question at the WAC has been clarified. Ex-Bundesliga coach Robin Dutt joins the Carinthians. The Wolfsberger confirmed this on the club’s website.

In his past, Dutt coached German clubs such as Werder Bremen, SC Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen. The 56-year-old was most recently employed by VFL Bochum. In addition, Dutt also acted as a sports director, including at VFB Stuttgart.

Born in Cologne, he will start at the WAC at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season. “Robin Dutt was the favorite for the coaching position right from the start. In the past we had many good and productive discussions that were based on a high level of mutual respect. With his great experience and professionalism, he will help us to achieve our goals,” explained President Dietmar Riegler.

“Dietmar Riegler and Christian Puff (President and Vice-President’s note) convinced me both personally and athletically of this task and I am looking forward to this task,” emphasized Dutt.
