Real Madrid: Zinedine Zidane doesn’t rule out Cristiano Ronaldo’s return

Since Juventus Turin left the Champions League, there have been rumors of a transfer from CR7. Zidane doesn’t rule anything out.

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, has before the second leg of the second leg in the Champions League against Atalanta Bergamo re-voiced the ongoing rumor that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo would return to the Spanish record champions.

In an interview with Sky Sports said the 1998 world champion that CR7 was now a “Juventus player” and that this had to be “respected”. When asked if there was anything to the speculation, Zidane replied: “Yes, maybe. We know Cristiano, we know about his personality and what he has done for our club.”

The Frenchman also added: “We’ll see what the future holds. I’ve been lucky enough to be his coach and he’s really impressed. But at the moment he’s helping Juventus.”

Cristiano Ronaldo’s statistics prove his value for the old lady again this season: the Portuguese scored 30 times for Juve in 33 competitive appearances. Last weekend alone, he defeated Cagliari in Serie A with his three goals (final score 3: 1) almost single-handedly.
