Real Madrid defy Super League chaos and are leaders for at least one night

Real Madrid have at least temporarily regained the lead in La Liga with a mandatory win. Without the ailing international Toni Kroos, Los Blancos won 3-0 (3-0) against newly promoted FC Cadiz on Wednesday evening and pushed past Atletico Madrid for the time being – and that in a week in which Los Blancos were almost all about those of President Florentino Perez sought and already failed Super League foundation turned.

A comparatively simple task awaits their local rivals Atletico with the same number of points, however, Atletico will play against relegation candidate SD Huesca on Thursday.
