Led by ex-international Kevin Volland, the French top club AS Monaco stormed into the national cup semi-finals. The former Leverkusen and Hoffenheimer scored the second goal (61st) for the team of the former Bayern coach Niko Kovac in the 2-0 (0-0) at Olympique Lyon.

Volland made the decision with his 17th competitive goal for Monaco.
Record winner PSG had no trouble at all in the Prinzenpark. Mauro Icardi (9th / 68th / 90th) was the outstanding man with a three-pack, and Neymar also contributed a goal after the break (65th). Julian Draxler contributed two assists. Vincent Manceau’s own goal (23rd) had almost destroyed the hopes of the guests before the break.
