Pacheco: “We didn’t deserve to leave empty”

The goalkeeper of the Alaves Fernando Pacheco mourned the defeat against him Spanish at RCDE Stadium and he affirmed that the team does not deserve to leave Barcelona “empty”.

The footballer highlighted the good work of his teammates. “I am proud of the team. We have had dangerous arrivals that could have been clear chances of scoring. The block has improved and is closer to what the coach expects,” he said.

On the other hand, Pacheco valued the group’s state of mind: “There are missing points, which is what ultimately gives you confidence. When you don’t add up, doubts are created and a black cloud arises that doesn’t help.”

In any case, the goalkeeper is convinced that Alavés will overcome this situation. “Of course, we have come out of other worse ones. We have heart and pride and we know that we can turn it around. There is no other choice but to row,” he settled.
