Borussia Mönchengladbach’s club icon Berti Vogts cannot understand the move from coach Marco Rose to Borussia Dortmund.
“I don’t know whether Marco’s decision was really the right one. The professional squads of the two clubs are currently equally well-filled, maybe that of my Borussia is even a bit stronger,” the former national coach wrote in his column for the news portal t-online.
Vogts (74) believes: “The chance of winning a title in the coming years is even greater with Gladbach than with Dortmund.” Rose is moving to BVB in the summer after two years on the Lower Rhine. In the Bundesliga, both teams are currently almost on a par. Gladbach’s record player Vogts said he was “sad” about the move, but he still wished Rose “all the best”.
