Edinson Cavani has extended his contract with English record champions Manchester United for another year until 2022.
The Europa League finalist confirmed this on Monday. Cavani joined the Red Devils from Paris St. Germain last October.
The 34-year-old attacker has played 35 games for ManUnited so far, scoring 15 goals. In the Europa League, Cavani shone in the semi-finals against AS Roma (6: 2/2: 3) with four goals and three assists. For the Uruguayan national team, Cavani scored 51 times in 118 appearances.
