Rennes did not tremble against Angers, on the occasion of the 33rd day of Ligue 1, and is repositioning itself for Europe.

On the lawn of Angers, the Rennais won (0-3) this Saturday, April 17. Jérémy Doku, Martin Terrier and Serhou Guirassy allowed Stade Rennais to come out victorious and get closer to European places.

Without a win for four days of the Championship, the SCO d’Angers (11th) has still not found the solution, at home, against Rennes (7th), who, over the same period, have a series of good results (four victories , a loser). This victory also allows the Bretons to get back into the race for Europe.

The meeting seemed badly embarked, however, with a first half poor in opportunity. The pace suddenly picked up a few minutes before the break. First with a goal denied from Angers – which no doubt woke Rennes up – then with the opener from Rennes. Jérémy Doku allowed Rennes to take control in this match (45th + 2). In the second period, Martin Terrier (63rd) and Serhou Guirassy (90 + 1) completed the success of the Reds and Blacks.

The Rennais are thus full of confidence. They had won only one of their last six trips to Ligue 1 (two draws, three defeats) before this day, in Metz on March 20 (1-3).
