Paris Saint-Germain receives AS Saint-Etienne on Sunday for the 33rd day of Ligue 1 and will have to face many absences.

Paris Saint-Germain, freshly qualified on Tuesday April 13 for the last four of the Champions League, will have to deal with several absences on Sunday April 18 in Ligue 1 against Saint-Etienne (1:00 p.m.), including the package of goalkeeper Keylor Navas, touched a shoulder and spared.

Coach Mauricio Pochettino has to face the suspensions of Neymar, Leandro Paredes and Idrissa Gana Gueye for this meeting counting for the 33rd day of L1. The Navas glitch, which “stay in care for shoulder pain” according to the club and will give way in the Parisian cage to Sergio Rico on Sunday, comes to furnish an infirmary which includes the defenders Abdou Diallo (calf) and Marquinhos (thigh).

For them both, the resumption of training should intervene “at the end of next week”, either after the quarter-final of the Coupe de France scheduled for Wednesday April 21 against Angers, but with chances of being on foot for the double confrontation in the semi-finals of C1 against Manchester City (April 28-May 4).

“We approach (these absences) hopefully, staying positive “, Pochettino commented at a press conference this Saturday, April 17. “When we arrived (in charge of the team at the beginning of January, editor’s note), there were twelve injured. These are difficult circumstances but we always have confidence. If we want to stay competitive, all players are important “, he added, while acknowledging having “still some doubts” on the eleven that he will align against the Greens.

PSG, current second in Ligue 1 (66 pts), can return if successful Sunday to a short distance from the leader Lille (70 pts), slowed down Friday by Montpellier at the opening of the weekend.
