Parisian goalkeeper Keylor Navas has extended with Paris Saint-Germain until June 30, 2024.
Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas has signed for an additional season at Paris SG, until June 2024, the club announced on Monday April 26, which also hopes to extend the contracts of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.
Arrived in 2019 from Real Madrid, Navas (34) did wonders in Paris, contributing with his stops to lead PSG to the Champions League final last year, lost against Bayern (1-0), and at least in the semi-finals this year, to play against Manchester City (first leg Wednesday, 9 p.m.). The goalkeeper notably managed two very brilliant quarter-finals against Bayern Munich (3-2, 0-1) and stopped a penalty from Lionel Messi against Barcelona (4-1, 1-1) in the round of 16.
PSG also this year extended the contracts of currently injured Spanish defender Juan Bernat until 2025, and Argentina striker Angel Di Maria until 2022, with an option for an additional season. Most of the attention is now focused on the extension of stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappé. That of the Brazilian is on track, according to many media, that of the French world champion, whose contract expires in 2022, still under negotiation. But the PSG wants to be optimistic in its public statements.
