SK Sturm announced two roster decisions early on: Kevin Friesenbichler and Bekim Balaj’s contracts will not be extended.
The contracts of both attackers expire in the summer – the collaboration will no longer be extended. The confirmed sports director Andreas Schicker Sky.
Balaj signed on from Akhmat Grozny in the summer of 2019 and has scored three Bundesliga goals in 26 games this season. Friesenbichler docked from VfL Osnabrück in January 2020 and scored four goals in 23 Bundesliga games.
On the other hand, center-back talent David Nemeth, currently on loan from FSV Mainz 05, should continue to kick the storm. “The wish is very clear that we want to borrow it for another year. Basically, the discussions with Mainz are very good in this regard,” said Schicker.
