Franck Ribery is thinking about returning to the Bundesliga – Monza seems to be interested

The Italian second division AC Monza, which is owned by TV tycoon and ex-Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, allegedly wants to sign the former Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery. This reports the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Frenchman is about to say goodbye to AC Florence at the end of the season, but wants to continue his career.

The second division Monza, which occupies second place in the Serie B table and hopes to move up to the top league next season, wants to strengthen the team with Ribery. The Berlusconi Club has already signed stars like Kevin-Prince Boateng and Mario Balotelli.

Ribery moved to Italy in 2019 after twelve years at Bayern Munich. In the end, however, he was repeatedly stopped by injuries. If the deal with Monza does not come off, Ribery is allegedly considering a return to the Bundesliga, writes the Gazzetta continue.
