France team: Ndombele, Dembele, Lemar and Ferland Mendy in Didier Deschamps’ list

Didier Deschamps announced his last list before that of the Euro this Thursday, March 18 for the next gathering of the Blues which promises to be busy. The France team will begin their qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup. Ferland Mendy and Ousmane Dembélé are back in the France group, as is Tanguy Ndombele.

Some players must have turned on their televisions at 2 p.m. with great care. This Thursday, March 18, Didier Deschamps unveiled his list to start the qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup, his last before that of the Euro. And the coach of the Blues saw the big picture. He called 26 players to start the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, against Ukraine (Wednesday March 24), Kazakhstan (Sunday March 28) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (Wednesday March 31). In his list, he also privileged the experience to the youth.

It was a foregone conclusion. No novice was called by Didier Deschamps this Thursday. Especially since the few young people who knocked on the door of the France team like Jules Koundé, Moussa Diaby, Eduardo Camavinga or Boubacar Kamara were summoned by Sylvain Ripoll for the group stage of Euro Espoirs.
