FC Bayern is currently working on the planning for the coming season. Among other things, a number of loaned players are expected back. One, however, could linger a longer time in a foreign country.
Defender Chris Richards (21) has become a regular at TSG Hoffenheim this season. A circumstance that means that Hoffenheim would like to keep the American for another year, like Sports picture reported.
Whether this project will meet with approval from FC Bayern is still open, especially since two central defenders, Jerome Boateng and David Alaba, will be leaving the club and Niklas Süle’s departure is also in the room.
Richards’ contract with the record champions runs until 2023, but he has been playing in Hoffenheim since February, has made eleven Bundesliga games so far and has also made two appearances in the Europa League.
Another loan player who does not want to come back yet is Leon Dajaku, who is loaned to Union Berlin. His loan will continue until 2022 anyway.
