Right-back Bouna Sarr, who has been criticized at Bayern Munich, apparently wants to stay in Munich and fight for a place in the team.
As the tz reports, Sarr is hoping for a fresh start under coach Julian Nagelsmann, after he barely got a chance under Hansi Flick and only played 16 competitive games this season (782 minutes played).
According to the report, the rumors circulating about a possible return to France for Olympique Marseille are also untrue. However, whether FC Bayern is interested in Sarr’s stay seems to be completely open.
FC Bayern had signed Sarr as a backup on the right side of defense shortly before the summer transfer window closed for a transfer fee of eight million dollars from OM and provided him with a contract until June 2024.
