World champion Corentin Tolisso is about to make his comeback at Bayern Munich. The 26-year-old Frenchman has trained with the ball again for the first time after a two-and-a-half month injury break.
Tolisso had been operated on in mid-February for a torn tendon in his left thigh. The midfielder started running training last week.
Whether Tolisso will be an option for coach Hansi Flick in the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on May 8 is open. This will be decided “after the course of the next few days,” announced the German record champions on Thursday.
