FC Bayern is apparently facing the next commitment of a youngster from North America. According to information from Sport1 the German record champions would like to sign Justin Che, who is currently on loan, on a permanent basis. Talks with his English consultancy agency Stellar are already ongoing.
Michael Reschke has been employed by Stellar since March. He worked from 2014 to 2017 as technical director at Munich, which should not reduce the chances of the FCB. In addition to the US passport, Che also has a German passport.
The 17-year-old is currently on loan from FC Dallas, Bayern’s cooperation club, after he was able to convince during a test training session. The central defender has so far made six appearances in the second team of FCB, four times he was on the field for over 90 minutes. It is still unclear what transfer fee will be due for him. His contract in Dallas runs until 2023.
However, the search for a suitable team could turn out to be problematic. The second representation of Bayern is about to relegate to the regional league, which would not represent the optimal league for the best possible development of the talent. In the preparation he should prove himself in the case of the permanent change under the new coach Julian Nagelsmann with the professionals.
FC Bayern has already had good experiences with talent from the MLS on several occasions: Alphonso Davies from the Vancouver Whitecaps joined FCB two and a half years ago and started his second season. Chris Richards joined Munich from Dallas in the summer of 2018 and is currently convincing on loan at TSG Hoffenheim.
