The Spanish top club FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in attacker Alexander Isak from league rival Real Sociedad again. That reports ESPN.
Accordingly, the Catalans have stepped up their efforts to get the 21-year-old. Isak, whose contract with La Real is still dated until 2024, was already traded last summer as a possible replacement for Luis Suarez, who then migrated to Atletico Madrid.
The Swedish international moved from Borussia Dortmund to the current table fifth in the Spanish league in summer 2019 and is also convincing in his second season with the Basques.
In the current season, the right-footed player has so far played 20 La Liga duels, in which he scored twelve goals and prepared two more.
At Real Sociedad, Isak has a contractually anchored release clause of 70 million euros.
