Europa League: Arsenal FC conceded an equalizer in the 94th minute – Ajax Amsterdam lost to AS Roma

Arsenal FC with national goalkeeper Bernd Leno did not get past the 1: 1 (0: 0) in the quarter-final first leg of the Europa League against Czech champions Slavia Prague and have to improve significantly in the second leg. Manchester United and Villarreal, on the other hand, have the best chance of reaching the semi-finals.

In London, Nicolas Pepe’s late goal (86th) looked like a win for Arsenal. Then Tomas Holes (90 + 4) struck with the final whistle.

If Leno and Arsenal advance, either Dinamo Zagreb, surprisingly defeated Tottenham Hotspur in the round of 16, or Villarreal CF will be waiting for them. Villarreal won the first leg on Thursday in the Croatian capital 1-0 (1-0).

The Red Devils put themselves in a good starting position in the battle for the semi-finals. The English record champions won the quarter-final first leg at Granada CF thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford (31st) and Bruno Fernandes (90th, penalty kick) 2-0 (1-0).

Manchester would face Ajax Amsterdam or AS Roma in the semifinals on April 29 and May 6. The Roma gained advantages for the reunion next Thursday with a 2-1 (0-1) against the 34-time Dutch champions.
