Markus Krösche is supposed to be the new sports director at Eintracht Frankfurt. According to picture-Zeitung, the Hessians should agree with the 40-year-old about a cooperation from summer.
Accordingly, the commitment could be announced in the middle of next week. At the moment the last details have to be clarified.
Eintracht is looking for a successor for Fredi Bobic, who will take over the position of managing director at Hertha BSC after this season. The Champions League contender also has to sign a new coach due to the upcoming move from Adi Hütter to Borussia Mönchengladbach.
On Monday, Krösche terminated his contract with RB Leipzig, which originally ran until 2022, prematurely at the end of the season. The ex-professional moved from Paderborn to Leipzig in 2019 as the successor to Ralf Rangnick.
