DFL cancels the upcoming three games from Hertha BSC

The DFL responded to the Bundesliga team Hertha BSC’s quarantine on Friday with the expected game cancellations. The Berlin game on Sunday at FSV Mainz 05 will be canceled, as will the Hertha games against SC Freiburg (originally April 21) and Schalke 04 (April 24).

The DFL announced. New game dates are to be announced “probably in the coming week”.

After several positive corona tests, Hertha was the first Bundesliga club to be in complete isolation.

A 14-day domestic quarantine applies to the team and the coaching staff. Previously, “only” second division clubs were affected by such a measure.
