DFB director Oliver Bierhoff trusts the outgoing national coach Joachim Löw to train at Real Madrid or FC Barcelona. “He loves good football. Of course you have that at Barcelona or Madrid,” said Bierhoff in the picture-Podcast “Phrase Mower”. When asked whether he would trust Löw to do this, the 53-year-old said: “Yes, of course!”
Löw will stop as national coach after the EM in the summer.
“I think he’s still up for doing something. He won’t say: That’s it in football,” said Bierhoff. But he couldn’t imagine Löw in the Bundesliga: “It’s going to be difficult. When I see what career he’s had, I’m more likely to see him at a club abroad.”
England could also be an option for Löw, France less so.
