After a positive corona rapid test, the afternoon training at Hamburger SV was canceled as a precaution on Monday.
The suspected case “came after a drive-in corona test specially called up by the club in the morning, in which the team and support staff went to the test individually in the car, so they did not see each other or come into contact,” he explained HSV on its homepage.
An additional PCR test is now to be used to determine whether an HSV professional has actually become infected by Tuesday.
So far, the northern Germans have been spared a pandemic-related quarantine. The next opponent of the second in the table is 1. FC Heidenheim, currently seventh in the table, on Saturday (1 p.m.)
HSV is currently three points behind the league leaders VfL Bochum, first pursuer is Holstein Kiel, who have tied for points, but played one game less.
