Champions League: PSG-Manchester City semi-final set for Wednesday, April 28

UEFA has unveiled the agenda for the semi-finals the day after the last two qualifiers.

In the aftermath of Manchester City and Real Madrid qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals, UEFA unveiled the agenda for these matches.

The first semi-final between Madrid and Chelsea will be played on Tuesday, April 27. The second leg will take place on Wednesday 5 May. On the Real side, Zidane will seek a fourth final in five C1 appearances on the bench of the “White House”, with the slight disadvantage of receiving in the first leg on April 27 in his modest Alfredo-Di-Stéfano stadium, located in the merengue training center, due to the work of the Santiago-Bernabeu stadium. Chelsea will host the Madrileños in the second leg on May 5 at Stamford Bridge. Tuchel can hope to afford a second consecutive final after that lost last summer against Bayern Munich on the bench of Paris SG (1-0).

The second semi-final, between PSG and Manchester City, will take place on Wednesday April 28, and the return match on Tuesday May 4. For Mauricio Pochettino’s team, it will be a question of doing better than that of Laurent Blanc, who fell against the Sky Blues in 2016 in the quarter-finals (2-2, 1-0), with the objective of hoisting PSG in the final for the second year in a row.
