Jonathan Barnett, advisor to Eduardo Camavinga (Stade Rennes), Ibrahima Konate (RB Leipzig) and Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) has announced some “big deals” for the coming summer.
“I expect three or four big deals in my portfolio that will break some records,” said Barnett at The Athletic. “Hopefully they will take off. We have some very good guys, with Eduardo Camavinga probably the best young player in the world. Plus Grealish, Konate von Leipzig. In total I have over 100 players.”
Midfield jewel Camavinga is already a key player at Rennes and has already made his debut for France’s national team. In addition to Real Madrid, the 18-year-old is also associated with FC Bayern, and Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be interested. “Camavinga can play in the Premier League next year,” said Barnett. “He’s good enough for it. I don’t know yet whether it will come that way or not.”
There were recent reports about Konate that the 21-year-old central defender was about to move from Leipzig to Liverpool. RB sports director Markus Krösche explained at Stats Perform News however, that is currently “not an issue”.
Grealish has attracted Manchester United’s interest for several years, but has remained loyal to his youth club Aston Villa to date. After another strong Premier League season (six goals, twelve assists), the 25-year-old Englishman could now want to take the next step.
