Mino Raiola said in an interview with the BBC claims that only ten clubs could afford a transfer from his client Erling Haaland. The consultant compared the Borussia Dortmund striker to Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton.
“Only a maximum of ten clubs can afford to buy him and give him the platform he wants after his time in Dortmund. And four of these clubs come from England,” said Raiola.
The star consultant, who also works for Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, sees Haaland as “one of the future stars of the next decade”. It is extremely difficult “to do what he is doing at his level at his age,” said Raiola.
Superstars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic are getting on in years, said Raiola. Therefore, look around for the stars of the future. Haaland is such a star. Raiola even compared the Norwegian with Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton.
“I don’t think there is a sports director or coach in the world who would say, ‘I’m not interested in Erling.’ There isn’t a team in Formula 1 that isn’t interested in getting Lewis Hamilton, “said Raiola.
