Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland reacted calmly to a potential interest from Real Madrid.
“It’s always nice when someone wants you,” he replied Viaplay Fotball when asked how it would feel if all Real fans would like to see him at Los Blancos.
The Norwegian scored twice for BVB in the 3-2 first leg win in the last 16 of the Champions League in Seville and at the age of 20 is now 18 goals in 13 games in this competition.
The youngster also drew motivation from Kylian Mbappe’s three-pack for PSG at FC Barcelona the day before. “When I saw Mbappe score a hat trick yesterday, the motivation came naturally. So thanks to him,” he said, emphasizing that he did not see himself in a competition with the Frenchman.
Haaland has been considered Real’s preferred candidate for some time. However, Dortmund always emphasized that they did not want to give up the striker yet.
