Austria Wien: There are still three coach candidates left

In the search for a successor to the outgoing head coach Peter Stöger, the number of candidates at Wiener Austria is said to have been reduced to three coaches.

As laola1 reports, with Michael Köllner (1860 Munich), Markus Schopp (TSV Hartberg) and Manfred Schmid there are still three trainers in the running for the Austria job.

Ferdinand Feldhofer and Thomas Janeschitz should no longer play a role after a hearing, Violets coach Harald Suchard should only have outsider opportunities.

The talks are to be held: Club President Frank Hensel, Neo-Board Member Gerhard Krisch, Kurt Gollowitzer (Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Managing Director of Wien Holding), Vice-President Raimund Harreither, Gregor Pilgram (Chairman of the Board of Generali Versicherung) and Chairman of the Board of Directors Robert Zadrazil (Chairman of the Board of Management of Bank Austria ) – there is little athletic competence in the committee.
