Austria-Wien President condemns tasteless action against Markus Kraetschmer

The President of FK Austria Wien, Frank Hensel, on behalf of the Presidium, condemned the action of the fans against Markus Kraetschmer at the Südosttangente with sharp words.

On Tuesday morning, before the home game against FC Admira, there were humiliating banners at the distribution circle and threatening gestures against Markus Kraetschmer. A hanged doll dangled over the southeast bypass.

“Commitment and enthusiasm for a football club should always express itself positively, but certainly not in such an aggressive and tasteless form. What some people here – to call them fans would be an insult to the many supporters of Vienna Austria – are very good surely crossed every limit, “says Frank Hensel.

“Such actions are not part of the tradition and self-image of Wiener Austria, which has just now shown that it can develop constructive energy when it comes to obtaining the license,” says the violets.
