An interview with Thorsten Fink at Wolfsberger AC

Will Thorsten Fink take over Wolfsberger AC? The German is said to be one of two coach candidates in Carinthia. The TV broadcaster Sky reports.

Since Ferdinand Feldhofer left, the WAC has been looking for a new head coach. Interim coach Roman Stary will not take over the WAC in the long term.

“As a sports coordinator, it is definitely not an issue as a coach,” says Stary.

Now Sky brings two candidates for the WAC job into play: Thorsten Fink and Robert Ibertsberger.

Fink coached Vienna Austria between 2015 and 2018. Fink then worked for Grasshoppers Zurich for a year. Most recently, Fink was in charge of Vissel Kobe (Japan), where a number of legends are under contract with Andres Iniesta, Lukas Podolski and David Villa.
