Winger Danny da Costa could be available to Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 in the basement duel against Arminia Bielefeld after the international break.
The 27-year-old was replaced last Sunday at 2-1 at TSG Hoffenheim (the highlights in the video) after 20 minutes with thigh problems. According to the club on Tuesday, however, he did not suffer “any serious injury” and was training with “reduced stress”.
Whether da Costa is ready to play again in the home game on Holy Saturday (3:30 p.m.) against Arminia will “in all probability become apparent in the course of the coming week”. Mainz (15th) is two points ahead of the table-17 after 26 match days. Bielefeld.
